Add Report Widgets to a Dashboard
Pin a report output as a live widget on any dashboard.
Putting a report on your dashboard
Widgets are added from the dashboard, not from the report.
- Open your dashboard and click Add Widget.
- Under Custom Reports, choose Custom Report.
- Pick the saved report to display. It renders as a table on the dashboard.
- Give the widget a title and add it.
Building a metric without a saved report
If you only want a number or a chart, you do not need to save a report first.
- Click Add Widget and choose Custom Query Widget.
- Pick the data source, the measure, and what to group by β department, engineer, status, and so on.
- Add filters and a timeframe, and choose how to draw it.
- Add it to the dashboard.
Other widget types
The picker is grouped by category β KPI & Summary, Financial, CRM & Sales, Ticketing, Projects & WOs, People & HR, IT & Monitoring, Activity, Custom Reports and Custom Query β with ready-made widgets in each, such as Revenue Trend, Ticket Status, Overdue Invoices and Printer Fleet.
Rearranging
Click Edit Layout to drag, drop and resize. Your layout is saved to your own account, so changing it does not affect anyone else β and there is no shared or read-only dashboard link to hand out. To give someone the same view, add the same widgets to their dashboard, or send them a scheduled report from Insights & Reports β Reports instead.
