Management Review (QMS)

Schedule and record management reviews so there is evidence the quality system is being reviewed at the top.

What it is

Quality standards such as ISO 9001 expect senior management to review the quality system at planned intervals. The QMS Reviews tab keeps a record of when each review was planned and when it was held.

Where to find it

Go to Compliance & QHSE β†’ Quality Management (QMS) and open the Reviews tab.

Recording a review

  1. Click + Review.
  2. In New Management Review, fill in:
    • the Title, for example "Q3 2026 Management Review";
    • the Review Date;
    • the Status: Planned for a meeting that's booked, or Completed once it has been held.
  3. Save.

The list shows each review's status, date and title. The Dashboard tab shows the five most recent reviews under Recent Management Reviews.

Good practice

  • Plan the whole year up front. Add each review as Planned so the dates are on record.
  • Take the evidence to the meeting. The QMS dashboard gives you open non-conformances, CAPA status and controlled documents due for review; these are the usual inputs.
  • Keep the minutes in Documents, with the same title as the review, so the record and the minutes can be matched.

Current limits

  • Once a review is saved, it can't be edited from the screen. You can't mark a Planned review as Completed. Add the completed review as a new entry, with the same title.
  • The inputs, outputs and attendees of a review can't be recorded in the app yet. Put them in the minutes.
