Calendar Entity Sync

How deal close dates, contract terms, project deadlines, work orders and tasks appear on the calendar automatically.

What it does

You don't need to copy key dates onto the calendar by hand. When you save a record with dates in another module, the calendar adds matching events for it. If you change the dates, the events move with them.

What appears

RecordCalendar events
CRM dealπŸ’Ό Deal Close β€” on the expected close date
Contract (ERP)πŸ“„ Contract Start and πŸ“„ Contract Expires
ProjectπŸ“ Project Start and πŸ“ Project Deadline
Work orderπŸ”§ WO Start and πŸ”§ WO Due
TaskπŸ“‹ Task Start and πŸ“‹ Task Due

These synced events show in teal so you can tell them apart from events you created yourself. Click one to open the record it came from.

Keeping them accurate

The record is the source of truth. To move a synced event, change the date on the deal, contract, project, work order or task, and the calendar updates. Don't edit the synced event itself, because the next time the record is saved it will be reset.

If you remove the date from a record, its event disappears.

Not synced

Leave, shifts, compliance deadlines and invoice due dates don't appear on the calendar.

Contract Expires events show the end date, but they don't send renewal reminders. To be reminded, add your own event some weeks before the end date, with invitees.
