Dashboards — Build a Data Widget
Add a custom, data-driven widget to your dashboard with the query widget builder.
Both the main and admin dashboards support custom data widgets built with no code.
Add a widget
- On the dashboard, choose Add Widget and choosing the Query Widget type.
- Pick a data source from the list.
- Choose a measure (what to count/sum), a group-by, and a timeframe.
- Add filters to narrow the data.
- Pick a chart type (bar, line, etc.) — a description is generated for you.
- Save. The widget renders live data and refreshes automatically.
Tips
- Group by time to see trends; group by category to see composition.
- Widgets are saved in your dashboard layout, so your view persists.
