Issue a Permit to Work
Create and approve a permit to work before hazardous field tasks.
Issuing a Permit to Work
- Open the work order and click Actions → New Permit to Work.
- Select the permit type (hot work, confined space, electrical isolation, etc.).
- Complete the risk assessment checklist and add any required PPE.
- Submit for supervisor approval — the approver receives an email notification.
- Once approved, the permit PDF is attached to the work order and available offline.
