What Your Plan Includes, and Why Some Menus Are Missing

Why you can see some modules and not others, how to find out what you are on, and what happens if a subscription lapses.

The short answer

If a module exists in this documentation but not in your menu, one of three things is true:

  1. Your plan does not include it.
  2. Your role does not permit it.
  3. Your subscription has lapsed and the account is read-only.

Plans

Plenix comes in four plans, each unlocking more modules. Broadly:

PlanWhat it adds
StarterThe core: dashboard, calendar, CRM, accounting, tickets, email, forms
ProfessionalField service, inventory, purchasing, compliance, reporting, API access
BusinessHR & payroll, documents, training, e-signatures, goals, workflow, SMS
EnterpriseDevice monitoring, remote management, AI features, white-labelling

Some modules are add-ons bought separately regardless of plan β€” Legal, Property, Production and others.

The definitive, current list is always the pricing page on the Plenix website. This table is a summary.

Roles

Even on the right plan, you see only what your role allows. Payroll is the clearest example: it exists on Business and above, but most staff on those plans still cannot open it, because wages are not everyone's business.

If you need access to something, ask whoever administers your account rather than assuming it is broken.

If a subscription lapses

If billing fails and the account lapses, Plenix does not delete anything or lock you out. It becomes read-only:

  • You can still log in, read, search and export everything.
  • You cannot create, edit or delete.
  • Billing pages stay open so it can be fixed.

Your data is intact and waiting. Renew and everything resumes.

If you try to change something and are told your subscription has ended, that is this β€” not a bug.

Finding out what you are on

Administrators can see the current plan and modules under the billing area. If you are not an administrator, ask one β€” plan details are not shown to everybody.
