Sync Invoices with QuickBooks or Xero
Connect QuickBooks Online or Xero via secure OAuth and push your invoices across with one click.
Plenix connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero using secure OAuth β you sign in on their site, and Plenix never sees your accounting password.
Connect
- Go to Settings β Integrations.
- On the QuickBooks or Xero card, click Connect.
- A window opens on the provider's site. Sign in and authorise Plenix.
- The window closes automatically and the card shows Connected.
If you see a message that OAuth credentials are not configured, the platform administrator needs to add the provider's client ID/secret to the server environment first.
Sync invoices
Once connected, click Sync Now on the card. Plenix pushes your invoices (and their customers/contacts) into the accounting system. The card shows how many invoices synced and the time of the last sync.
If a sync fails
Any error from the accounting provider is shown on the card. Common causes are an expired authorisation (just click Connect again to re-authorise) or a required field missing on a customer record.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect to revoke the stored tokens. Existing synced invoices remain in your accounting system; only the live connection is removed.
