Send Notifications to Slack, Teams, Discord or Google Chat

Plenix can post notifications straight into your team's chat using an incoming webhook. The setup is the same idea for all four providers — create a webhook URL in the chat app, then paste it into Plenix.

Step 1 — Create the webhook in your chat app

Slack

1. Go to https://api.slack.com/apps → your app → Incoming Webhooks → Add New Webhook to Workspace.
2. Choose the channel and copy the URL (it starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/...).

Microsoft Teams

1. In the channel, click … → Connectors → Incoming Webhook (or create a Power Automate "when a webhook request is received" flow).
2. Name it, then copy the URL (https://<org>.webhook.office.com/... or https://<...>.logic.azure.com/...).

Discord

1. Channel Edit → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.
2. Copy the URL (https://discord.com/api/webhooks/...).

Google Chat

1. In the space, … → Apps & integrations → Webhooks → Add webhook.
2. Copy the URL (https://chat.googleapis.com/v1/spaces/...).

Step 2 — Connect it in Plenix

1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
2. Find the card for your provider (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, or Google Chat) and click Connect.
3. Paste the webhook URL and click Connect.

Plenix validates the URL — it must be HTTPS and must belong to that provider's official domain, so a mistyped or malicious URL is rejected on the spot.

Step 3 — Test it

Click Send Test. You should see a test message land in your channel within a second or two. If it fails, the error from the provider is shown so you can correct the URL and try again.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on the card at any time. The stored URL is removed immediately and Plenix stops posting to that channel.
