Cloud Cost Management

Pull AWS, Azure and GCP spend into one view and spot spikes early.

What this shows

Spend from your AWS, Azure and GCP accounts pulled into a single view. Break costs down by account and service, spot spikes early, and keep client cloud bills under control with trend visibility rather than a nasty surprise on the invoice.

Connecting an account

  1. Go to Monitoring β†’ Cloud Cost.
  2. Add the cloud account with its provider and identifier.
  3. Link it to the client company it belongs to.
  4. Save. Costs are recorded against that account.

Reading the breakdown

  • By account β€” which client or environment is spending what.
  • By service β€” which services drive the bill. This is usually where the surprise is.
  • Trend β€” spend over time. A step change is far more informative than an absolute figure.

Acting on a spike

A sudden jump is almost always one of three things: something left running, a service scaled up and never scaled down, or storage that is growing unattended. Check the service breakdown first β€” it will tell you which.

Tip: Tag each cloud account to the client it belongs to. Untagged spend is spend you cannot recharge.
