Schedule and record maintenance on your production equipment to prevent unplanned downtime. Due and overdue servicing is flagged, so machines stay available and quality problems caused by wear are avoided rather than diagnosed after the fact.
Scheduling maintenance
- Go to Production → Machine Maintenance and click New Maintenance.
- Pick the machine or work centre.
- Choose the type — routine service, inspection or repair.
- Set the due date and the interval if it repeats.
- Save.
Recording completion
When the work is done, record it against the schedule with the date, what was done, and the cost. That builds a service history for the machine.
Reading the board
Due and overdue items are flagged. Overdue maintenance on a machine that is currently running production is the item to act on first.
Why the history matters
A machine with a documented service history is worth more, is easier to warranty-claim against, and tells you when repeated repairs mean it is time to replace rather than fix again.
Tip: Schedule maintenance around your production plan, not the calendar. A service due the same week as your largest run will be skipped, and skipped maintenance is how unplanned downtime happens.
