Production Overview
The production dashboard: late orders, shortages, work in progress, yield, variance and work-centre load.
Production β Dashboard shows what is being made, what is late, what is short and how loaded the floor is. Every figure opens the orders behind it.
The figures
- Open orders β draft, released, running and held orders.
- Late β open orders past their due date.
- On hold β orders paused on the floor.
- Material shortages β components the open orders still need that you do not have in stock. Shortages are worked out across every open order in due-date order against the stock you hold now, so the order that needs stock first gets it first.
- Work in progress β the value of materials issued plus labour booked, less output received, on open orders.
- Awaiting close β completed orders whose variance has not been posted yet.
- On time, yield and variance (30 days) β how many orders finished by their due date, good output as a share of good plus scrap, and the total cost variance posted.
- Last MRP run β when material planning last ran and how many orders it planned.
