Lots, Serial Numbers and Recall Tracing
Track lot numbers, expiry dates and serial numbers from receipt to customer.

Turning it on for an item
On an item's stock-control panel, set tracking to None, Lot or Serial, and a shelf life in days if it expires.
Receiving
When goods arrive, record the lot number and expiry date, or a serial number for each unit, on the goods receipt.
Shipping
Each shipment records which lots and serials went out, so you always know who received what.
Lot status
A lot is available, in quarantine or expired. Quarantine a lot to stop it being picked while you check it, then release it or write it off. Lots can also be moved to another bin.
Recall trace
For any lot, the recall trace shows which supplier and receipt it came from and which customers received it, with the quantities and dates.
