Replenishment Planning

See projected stock and raise draft purchase orders for everything that needs reordering.

Inventory β†’ Replenishment shows what needs ordering.

Projected stock

For each item: on hand βˆ’ open sales-order demand + open purchase orders.

Reorder point

If an item has a reorder point set, that is used. Otherwise it is worked out from the last 90 days of usage and the supplier's lead time (14 days if none is set), plus any safety stock β€” and never below the item's minimum quantity.

Suggested quantity

When projected stock is at or below the reorder point, Plenix suggests enough to reach the reorder point plus 30 days of usage, rounded up to whole multiples of the reorder quantity if one is set. Days of cover are shown for each item.

Ordering

Raise purchase orders creates draft purchase orders, one per supplier, for every suggested line β€” at the prices in any active blanket agreement.
