Stock Transfers

Create a transfer

1. Open Inventory > Stock Transfers and select New Transfer.
2. Choose different source and destination warehouses.
3. Select an item stocked in the source warehouse and enter a positive whole quantity. The picker shows source availability.
4. Add any other lines and create the transfer.

Pending transfers do not reserve stock. Availability is checked again when you complete the transfer.

Complete or cancel

Open View on a pending transfer. Complete Transfer subtracts stock from the source and adds it at the destination in one transaction. A single destination item with the same SKU and customer is reused; otherwise a destination stock record is created. Multiple matching destination rows require consolidation before transfer.

The stock ledger records both the removal and addition with the transfer reference. A failed write rolls back the whole transfer. A completed or cancelled transfer cannot be completed again.

Choose Cancel to close a pending transfer without changing stock.
