Change Orders
Record changes to a projectβs scope, cost and timing, and apply them to the budget, end date and contract once approved.
A change order records a change to what was agreed: extra work, removed work or a new deadline. Raise one from a project's Change Orders tab, or see every change order across projects at ERP β Change Orders.
What a change order holds
- Cost change β added to or taken from the project budget.
- Price change β added to or taken from the linked contract's value.
- Schedule change β days added to or taken from the project end date (and the contract end date).
- Bill on approval β raise an invoice for the price change as soon as it is approved.
Approval
Change orders start as drafts. Submit sends one for approval, and an admin approves or rejects it (with a reason). Approving updates the project budget, end date and linked contract straight away, and lists what changed. Rejected and approved change orders cannot be edited.
