Returns (RMA)

Log customer returns, receive goods back into stock and finish with a credit note or replacement.

ERP β†’ Returns tracks goods coming back from customers.

Steps

  1. Request β€” choose the customer, optionally the invoice, and the items and quantities being returned, with a reason.
  2. Approve β€” an admin approves or rejects the return.
  3. Receive β€” record what arrived and its condition. You can receive in parts. Items in sellable condition go back into stock automatically; items marked damaged or defective are recorded but not restocked, and so is anything with restocking switched off.
  4. Finish β€” raise a credit note for the returned value (needs Accounting), or mark the return replaced if you sent new goods instead.
  5. Close the return.

Each return shows its credit note and status, and the figures at the top of the page filter the list.
