Customer Onboarding Projects
Run a structured checklist to take each new client live.
How onboarding works
Each onboarding project runs a structured checklist that takes a new client live the same way every time. Progress is tracked per item so nothing is missed, and a completed onboarding hands off cleanly into ongoing service, contracts and billing.
Starting an onboarding
- Go to ERP β Onboarding and click New Onboarding.
- Pick the client company.
- Choose a template, or build the sections and items for this client.
- Assign an owner to each item and set target dates.
- Save β the project appears with its completion percentage.
Working through it
Tick items off as they are done. Each section shows its own progress, so you can see at a glance whether the delay is in access setup, documentation or billing.
Handing off
When every item is complete, mark the onboarding Complete. The client is then a normal managed client β tickets, contracts and invoices behave as they would for anyone else.
Tip: Build one template from your best onboarding and reuse it. The value here is consistency, not the checklist itself.
