Account Managers and Clients Managed
Give each client company a named account manager, see who looks after which clients, and keep your favourite companies to hand.
Every client company can have one account manager: the person in your team who owns the relationship.
Set the account manager
- Go to CRM β Companies and open a company, or click New company.
- On the Overview tab, click Edit and use the Account manager picker. It's the same people picker you use for engineers on tickets, projects and work orders.
- Click Save.
The account manager appears in the company header under the company name. Click their name to open their employee profile. If nobody is assigned, the header shows Not assigned.
See the clients someone manages
Open HCM β Employees and choose a person. If they manage any clients, a Clients managed panel shows:
- how many companies they look after, and how many of those are active
- each company, with a link to it
When someone manages more than eight clients, use the filter box to find one quickly. Older companies where the account manager was typed in as a name (for example "Smith, John") are matched too.
Find companies by account manager
On CRM β Companies, the hub cards include Managed and No account manager. Click a card to filter the list.
Favourites and recent companies
Click the star on a company, either in the list or in its header, to make it a favourite. Favourites and recently viewed companies are saved to your account, so they follow you to any browser or device.
Rearrange the company tabs
On a company page, drag any tab left or right to change the order. Your order is saved to your account. Click the reset icon next to the tabs to go back to the default.
Primary and billing contacts
On the company's Users tab, open a user's menu to set or remove them as the primary contact or the billing contact.
