Finding and Merging Duplicates

Find companies, contacts and leads that are the same record and merge them safely.

CRM β†’ Duplicates lists records that look like the same company, contact or lead.

How matches are found

Plenix compares records that share something β€” a similar name, the same email address, the same website or email domain, or the same phone number. Phone numbers are compared on their last 9 digits, so +44 7700 900123 and 07700 900123 match. Free email providers such as Gmail are not treated as a company domain. For contacts and leads, a similar name only counts when the two are at the same company. Each pair shows a score and the reasons it was suggested.

Merging

Open a pair to compare the two records side by side. For each field, pick the value to keep, then merge. Everything linked to the duplicate β€” deals, tickets, invoices, contacts, activities and more β€” moves to the record you keep, and the duplicate is marked as merged.

Not a duplicate?

Mark the pair Not a duplicate and it will not be suggested again.

History

Every merge is recorded with who did it, when and which values were kept.
