Access, settings and turnover
Switching off a leaver's access, the automatic steps, offboarding settings and the turnover dashboard.
Switching off access
Switching off access suspends the person's login and ends every session they have open, so they cannot carry on in a session they were already signed into. HR can do it at any time with Switch off access now. Super admin accounts are never switched off this way.
The automatic steps
Two steps happen by themselves unless you turn them off in Settings:
- Switch off access on the date. Access goes off on the access date you set, or on the leaving date if you leave it empty. Checked every hour.
- Mark as left on the leaving date. The employee record is set to left.
Settings (HR)
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| IT people | Get the IT tasks |
| Finance people | Get the finance tasks |
| HR people | Get the HR tasks |
| Exit questions | The questions in the exit interview, one per line |
| Switch off access automatically | The automatic access step above |
| Mark as left automatically | The automatic leaving-date step above |
Turnover
The Turnover tab covers the last 3, 6, 12 or 24 months:
- leavers per month, and how many were voluntary or regretted
- reasons for leaving
- departments with the most leavers
- average time with the company
- the exit interview summary
Automations
Workflow rules can react to an offboarding starting, access being switched off, the employee being marked as left, a task being done, and an offboarding completing or being cancelled β for example to raise an IT ticket.
