Careers site and screening questions

Turn on your branded careers page, publish jobs, ask screening questions and receive applications with CVs.

Your careers site lists every published job in your logo and colours. Candidates apply without a login.

Turning it on

  1. Go to Recruitment β†’ Settings.
  2. Tick Careers page. The address of your careers page appears underneath. Copy it to your website or job adverts.
  3. Set the Page heading, an Introduction, and your Privacy notice.

When the careers page is off, the address shows "not found" and nobody can apply online.

What candidates see

  • A list of published jobs with search and a department filter.
  • Each job's description, requirements, location, type, salary range (if you chose to show it) and closing date.
  • An apply form with name, email, phone, CV, cover letter and your screening questions.
  • Your privacy notice and a box they must tick to agree before sending.

Only open jobs marked as public are shown. Jobs past their closing date are hidden.

Screening questions

Add questions on the job: yes/no, multiple choice or written. Mark a question required if it must be answered. For yes/no and multiple-choice questions you can mark one answer as a knockout, which flags the application for review. It never rejects anyone on its own.

CVs

CVs must be PDF, Word (.doc or .docx), RTF, ODT or text, up to 10 MB. They are stored privately and can only be opened by people who can see the application.

Spam protection

The form has a hidden trap field that catches bots, and a limit on how many applications can be sent from one connection per minute. If someone applies twice to the same job with the same email, the second one is ignored, so there are no duplicates.
