Interviews and scorecards

Schedule interviews with a panel, invite the candidate, send reminders and collect unbiased scorecards.

Scheduling an interview

On the application, choose Schedule interview and pick:

  • the type: phone, video, on-site, technical or panel,
  • the date, time and length,
  • the interviewers,
  • a location or a video link.

You can email the candidate an invitation from a template. Video interviews include a join button. Interviewers get an in-app notification and an email straight away.

Reminders

Interviewers are reminded the day before. Two hours after the interview, interviewers who have not submitted a scorecard are asked for their feedback. Changing the time sets up a new reminder.

Outcomes

Mark an interview completed, cancelled or no show. Rescheduling keeps the history.

Scorecards

Each job has a scorecard: a list of criteria. The default is Skills and experience, Communication, Problem solving and Values and team fit. Change it on the job.

Each interviewer rates every criterion from 1 to 5, adds notes and gives an overall recommendation: strong no, no, yes or strong yes.

No anchoring: an interviewer cannot see anyone else's scorecard for that application until they have submitted their own. HR and the hiring manager always see them all.

The application shows the average score, the spread of recommendations and the average for each criterion.
