Pay outliers and working hours
Find people paid well below their peers or under their pay band, change their pay, and record contracted hours so part-time staff are compared fairly.
Outliers
Pay equity → Outliers lists people who need a look:
- Below peers — hourly pay at least the outlier threshold (10% by default) below the median of at least two others with the same job title.
- Below band minimum — paid less than their pay band's minimum.
Click a name to open their pay page in Compensation, or Change pay to record a pay change with a reason; it is added to their pay history. Outliers never use equality details.
Working hours
Without contracted hours, full time is assumed, which makes part-time staff look better paid than they are. Open Pay equity → Working hours (or Missing hours on the Overview), tick Only salaried people without hours, type weekly hours (1–80) and press Save or Enter. Clear the box and save to remove hours.
